This year, in partnership with Tampa Electric, the Tampa Airport installed a canopy of solar panels on the top floor of the south economy parking lot. In addition to providing shade for parking patrons, the canopy generates enough electricity to power 250 homes.

  Tampa Airport offers free high-speed wireless Internet service throughout the airport and in the free cellphone waiting lot.

• Airport Lounges

  TPA has an American Airlines Admirals Club lounge, located in Concourse F next to Gate 85, open to travelers with an Admirals Club membership, oneworld Emerald and Sapphire frequent flyers, and travelers flying in first or business class on an American Airlines affiliated flight. Economy passengers can also purchase a one-day pass at the door for $50. The USO Welcome Center, located on Level 2 near the British Airways ticket counter, offers computers with Internet access, a TV lounge, children’s activities, drinks, and snacks and is available to members of the military and their families.

  The Tampa Airport has a wide variety of entertainment options, including 34 restaurants and 45 shops.

  Need a UPS office? Looking for lost and found? Check out all the services available at the TPA Airport, or ask one of the Guest Service Representatives staffing kiosks at the north and south ends of the Main Terminal from 6 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. daily.
